  • Vision

    Climate change caused by anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions poses a significant challenge for human civilization. Hence, ways to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere are of significant interest.

    Recycling secondary fuel streams and biomass is one of the most environmentally friendly options. Unfortunately, the available processes are fragmented and limited with regard to specific input and output requirements. Moreover, the focus on technology generally understates the importance of the project viability and the profitability of the plant’s business case, preferably without using subsidies.

    First, NRG envisions a single plant design, which is based on proven technologies and has commercial references for each step in design. The installation can for example be focused on the production of natural gasreplacing gas from secondary fuel. This particular setup was recently realized in our reference project.

    In general, the installation is customized to fit your specific needs and allows you to turn any combination of diverse biomass and secondary fuel streams into a range of high quality energy carriers, each of which can be used to replace fossil fuels. Using NRG’ software tool SMARTPlanned, the plant investment can be scrutinized in advance. This results in a commercially viable ‘Multi Fuel – Multi Process – Multi Product’ installation, with a profitable business case.

    Our world is faced with a rapid growth in energy demand and the need to reduce the dependency on fossil fuels. The need for decentralized and efficient renewable energy generation is imminent. Most actors in the field offer a product which is at best part of a solution, and are predominantly driven by a single technology, instead of offering a solution based on return of investment.

    NRG has the ambition to offer tailor made total solutions whereby it can access all relevant resources based on the specific application and business case. Working from our technology platform, our solutions are distinctive, innovative, scalable, proven and -most importantly- efficient.

    Our company is funded by a small group of seasoned informal investors with an active interest in the company. Our team consist of a Management Board which combines knowledge and many decades of (executive level) experience in all the relevant disciplines and fields, from science to entrepreneurship and from engineering to finance. Our staff has extensive experience in engineering, project management, system controls and the energy marketplace. Although we are well funded and our shares are not traded publicly, we’re always open minded for added value investors with an interest in the renewable energy space.
