CONVERTING SECONDARY FUEL STREAMS INTO HIGH QUALITY GAS TO REPLACE NATURAL GAS
A major horticulture enterprise with a greenhouse facility in the Westland region of the Netherlands used to consume high volumes of natural gas. With a carefully designed and configured NRG MFPP plant, a secondary fuel stream is now used as feedstock to power the greenhouse facility. The result: sustainable in-house energy generation with a profitable business case.

For this project, NRG provided turnkey services in engineering, procurement, project management, construction management, start-up, operation, maintenance and fuel & output contracting, including funding. Furthermore, funding is arranged in such a way that the repayment of the loan is provided for by the revenues generated by the sale of 2.500.000 Nm3 of MFPP gas towards the greenhouse facility (our customer).
