Feedstock
The production of the secondary fuel for this reference installation takes place in accordance with the TÜV/PÜG, specifying the procedure to ensure that each fraction from which the secondary fuel is produced is traceable in order to guarantee quality and composition. The production process has been set up to turn end-of-life plastics (which can’t be further recycled) into a specific form of secondary fuel. Process steps for the production of this secondary fuel comprise of sorting, mechanical processing, breaking, shredding, and agglomerating.

Gas
The gas production process using secondary fuel as feedstock can be controlled in such a way that the MFPP-gas can be used as a natural gas-replacement for local energy production. The gas quality is specified as follows:
